Clear terms for an early-stage financial record-keeping tool.

1. What Finance Tracker does
Finance Tracker helps you organise financial records, contributions, holdings, documents, reminders, and reports. It is a software tool for your own record-keeping. It does not hold client money, execute trades, provide brokerage, custody, insurance, tax filing, legal services, or personalised investment advice.
2. Early-stage service disclosure
The service is at an early stage of development. This website does not state or imply that Finance Tracker has a government licence, regulatory registration, certification, security audit, or compliance approval unless that status is later published here in writing. Features may change, be unavailable, or contain errors. Keep independent copies of important documents and records.
3. Your account and content
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for ensuring that information, documents, and account data you add are accurate, lawful, and yours to use. Do not upload another person's data without a valid reason and appropriate permission. You remain responsible for reviewing all saved entries, calculations, reminders, imports, and reports.
4. No financial or professional advice
Prices, calculations, estimates, OCR extraction, AI-generated summaries, alerts, and third-party data are informational only. They are not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, insure, invest, borrow, or take any tax or legal action. Financial decisions remain your responsibility: verify information against your source documents and seek advice from a suitably qualified professional before making a decision.
5. External services and data
Some features may use third-party services for optional analytics, CAPTCHA, market data, broker integrations, or AI-assisted processing. Your use of a feature may cause the information needed for that feature to be sent to the relevant provider. See the Privacy Notice before using those features.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, scrape data, misrepresent the product, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity. The operator may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect people, data, or the service.
7. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service useful and available, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free output, or complete security. To the extent permitted by applicable law, use of the service is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
8. Intellectual property and changes
The original site materials are protected as described in the Copyright Notice. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will carry a revised effective date. If you continue using the service after an update, please review the revised terms.

For support, privacy, copyright, or account questions, contact the service operator through the Feedback page. Do not include passwords, full card details, or other information you would not want sent through a support message.
